About

Whacky Self streetwear was created by Noemi Veberič Levovnik, a queer, neurodivergeant artist from Slovenia. All of the collections are inspired by or directly made as part of Noemi's artistic practice, ranging from drawing, installation, performance art, cabaret, to creation of pop songs, Let my Pussy Speak series of poetry and embodiment work. She also draws inspirations from her personal/dating life as a queer woman (such as a slightly braggy ex-girlfriend who actually said her monstera is the biggest) and LGBTQA+ culture which she belongs to and is very nerdy and excited about.

Whacky aesthetics are inspired by graffiti, rap culture, pop culture especially the queer variety, the fashion of the 1980s and 1990s, and all kinds of art.

Whacky is a brand powered by the messages it helps to bring into the world: gender equality, liberation of womxn and their bodies, sex-positivity, body-positivity, mental-health awarness, LGBTQA+ rights and self-love. We are passionate about rebelling and also love to integrate humor into everything.

All of our designs are eco-consciouss and printed in Germany.

We also offer personalised garments with one-of-a-kind bleach dies and paints or special designs in case your desire inspires a garment.

A creative ode to imperfection and joy, Whacky is calling you to be your authentic, messy, wonderfully special self, and to do so with STYLE!
